Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of data engineers - leading, mentoring, defining working standards and methodologies, prioritizing tasks
- Design and build Fieldin’s next generation data architecture
- You will be part of a larger R&D group, working closely with the Product managers, and be responsible for the design and implementation of a highly-scalable data pipeline as well as data analytics components
- Full responsibility for our data platform (DWH/ streaming solutions/ reporting services/ETL processes)
- Give guidance, advice and bring into our data lake any data required, constrained by our context and technology stack
- Design software solutions and architecture for scale and reliability
- You will be instrumental in maintaining current data pipelines and data lake architecture as well as investigating and learning new technologies that will help meet future analytical needs
- Responsibilities will include python data application development, operating and maintaining pipelines, and continued data architecture improvement
- Implementation with attention to code quality & best practices
- Responsible for people’s professional and personal growth & well-being
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Engineering Management / Tech leadership experience
- 5+ years of practical experience with Java/Python programming languages, excellent programming skills - functional programming, design patterns and data structures
- Experience with data warehouse, data lake architecture, and enterprise big data platforms
- Deep knowledge of Data modeling methodology and experience with related tools
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks, dockerization, and Cloud
- Knowledge of working in microservices environments and building state-of-the-art data-driven solutions
- Experience working with data technologies, such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow
- Significant experience working with structured and unstructured data and data types such as xml, key-value, document, graph, No-SQL, in memory, etc.
- BSC in Computer-Science/Mathematics or equivalent
