20/10/2021Investigate, develop, review and improve all engineering aspects and principles adopted in the design of Filtersafe automatic filters.
- Design and implement a custom product, mounting, and options that conform to engineering and safety standards
- Conduct Engineering design and analysis of systems and components using modelling software
- Produce engineering documents including of drawing numbering/Series to accommodate GA's, Details, Sections, P&IDs, Skid documentation, assembly drawings per project, exploded isometric assemblies, fabrication drawings.
- Maintain an updated database of specified equipment and associated documentation
- Assist in training key Assembly, Planning, Sales, Customer Service and Purchasing personnel on new product introductions.
- Proactive by collaborating on a cross-functional team and recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
- Identifying, fabricating, and evaluating product alternatives and prototypes
- Monitor and direct engineering service groups that are conducting tasks related to new product development and introduction.
- Leading and assisting.
- Looking for updated Technologies to achieve improvements and as a result new sales.
- Professional training production-level employees on key manufacturing and testing processes whenever is required.
- Work alongside FS Project Coordinator’s attending team meetings and completing allocated tasks.
- Materials: Metals, Polymers, Composed materials, sealants & adhesives, etc.
Implement engineering information on FS standard documentation.
- Work closely with the head of documentation.

Ability to perform basic and advanced design analysis to ensure that new designs adhere to international and relevant design standards.
Ability to utilize MRP system for advanced purposes – running reports, document creation and modification, material tracking
Ability to seek out solutions across functional departments and remote sites
TECHNICAL
Competency in identifying with industrial equipment and processes mainly the markets.
An ability to identify with advanced engineering principles related to water treatment, process water treatment & Hydraulics, Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems.
An ability to quickly and effectively comprehend project specifications related to the industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and min. of 5 years experience in designing products related to the particle filtration markets by using international and safety standards.
Ability to produce P&ID’s & detailed drawings.
COMPUTER & Information Systems
Use of Windows & MS Office
MS Excel environment in order to provide the correct documentation for correspondence, tenders, quotations, project management, reports, etc. at a level commensurate of international business practice.
Use of Project Management programs and techniques
An ability to use ERP and PDM tools.
