Manufacturing Engineering - Black Belt

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced, proactive, and goal oriented professional to lead deployment and execution of the process control sub-discipline within key operational organizations.

Process Control will dramatically improve the company’s quality and delivery signature using Statistical Process Control / Six Sigma methodologies. The Black Belt will be responsible for assisting the organization in developing a vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting infrastructure for the integration of data driven decision making and Lean/Six-Sigma methods into daily business practices across operations, engineering, quality and business functions.

Responsibilities:

1.  Develop the organization’s employees in variation reduction and process control proficiency by coaching, mentoring and coordinate execution of required training – Green Belts, Black Belts and Champions.

2.  Work with senior management project champions.

3. Ensure technical quality of variation reduction and process control projects.

4. Lead significant projects critical to improve manufacturing process capability & quality performance

5.  Represent the organization in various forums related to Process Certification/Six Sigma

6. Coordinate development and publishing of Success Stories.
