BMC is looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Tel Hai (near Qiryat Shmona). Come join a dynamic group in BMC developing next generation cloud-based solution for IT management experimenting with cutting-edge technologies and focusing on agile development and value to the customer. Take part in advanced SaaS products and tools development within a cross regional team

Responsibilities:

  • Develop features for industry leading cloud services.

  • Implementation of specific components as required by the product and service roadmap.

  • Be able to independently work as part of (or for) a team with remote leadership.

  • Independently learn new products and be able to work based on short communication to allow short time to completion of projects.

  • Take part and daily communicate with remote teams and product stakeholders based on company standards.

דרישות התפקיד וניסיון נדרש: 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience working for a software engineering company

  • Experience in Web service protocols (REST, JSON) implementation and Web application development

  • Experience in Java with ability to code in other languages such as Python, NodeJS, Perl

  • Ability to quickly learn new coding tools/languages as required for the product and expand from that.

  • Communicate with remote stakeholders verbally in English as well as in mail threads to reach a solution to problems or project blockers.

  • Ability to independently learn new skills and show details of gaining ownership of responsibilities.

Advantages:

  • Experience using Kafka, Elastic, Kubernetes, redis

  • Experience working with AWS based services such as CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, ELK, ESK, MSK

  • Usage of Github for product development.

  • Proven knowledge of using containers and/or docker
