JOB DESCRIPTION OPERATIONS MANAGER IN THE NES AMMIM HOTEL

Nes Ammim is a village in the Western Galilee, in the North of Israel, dedicated to dialogue, learning and hospitality. For more information: www.nesammim.org.
The Nes Ammim Hotel is a 3 star standard Hotel with 48 rooms and an 8 family size apartments. The hotel is staffed with a mixture of Jewish, Arab and European workers. These European workers are mainly young volunteers and by their presence and work contributing to the ideology of Nes Ammim. The Hotel is proud of its tradition in welcoming European Pilgrim Groups and also religious and dialogue groups from both Jewish and Arab backgrounds.

The Operations Manager in Nes Ammim Hotel reports to the Hotel Manager.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth running, effective working of the Front Desk and the organization of events such as religious groups doing Shishi Shabat or Shabat Chatan, Weddings, Birthdays, Music concerts etc.
Specific Tasks:
- Ensure the financial integrity of the Front Desk operations.
- Be responsible for the Guest welcome when they arrive.
- Actively promote the Hotel at the domestic market and attract events business.
- Look after the logistical organization of the hotel and events (including kitchen).
- Be a duty manager working one weekend in 4.
- Actively promote events and take reservations.
